Position: Laboratory Assistant
Lab: the Srinivasan Lab
Description: We are looking for a full-time laboratory assistant for a 1 year period (there would be an option to extend this if the student is interested). Start date may be anytime between 06/1/2024 – 08/1/2024. Pay will be hourly at $20 / hr. Primary role for the student will be to perform laboratory experiments (RT-PCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry, muscle tension recordings, cell-culture) which are part of the funded NIH proposal for Dr. Anand Jain, titled “Fibrosis of the Lower Esophageal Sphincter in Achalasia.” Dr. Jain is a member of the Srinivasan lab. There will also be an opportunity to participate in clinical trials and other human subject clinical research.
