in Addiction Psychiatry as a possible specialty?
This summer, Emory Healthcare, the Addiction Alliance of
Georgia, and the Hazeldon Betty Ford Foundation are offering three Immersive
Observership Weeks at one of their clinics! There is no cost to participate
(with the exception of a $10 badge fee), however you will need to complete an
application and be selected.
The Week Includes:
· Clinical Observation
· Classroom instruction
· Integration into patient life at community-based treatment in the Atlanta area
Three Options for Immersive Observership Weeks this summer!
Select which one is most convenient for you. Please note this is an immersive experience and you are expected to be present from 8:45 am – 5:00 pm each day, with the exception of Friday when the program will end around noon.
· June 24-28
· July 22-26
· August 5-9

Selected participants will be notified by email regarding their participation in this program. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to begin collecting your immunization documentation in anticipation of being selected; however, please DO NOT obtain a TB test until you receive communication that you have been selected.
