Volunteer Emory Updates

Are you passionate about volunteering in communities in the American Southeast? Do you have questions about or are thinking of participating in an Alternative Break? Tune into our Instagram takeover featuring awesome Alternative Break co-leads who will be talking about their unique educational and leadership experiences and answering any questions you might have. Ask them anything from their favorite memories to what an Alternative Break is like! During the Alternative Spring Break you will be able to travel to the American Southeast and gain hands-on experience with volunteer organizations addressing specific issues. Want to apply early? If you're willing to be a driver apply now!

Join us for an Alternative Breaks Interest meeting! Learn more about what an Alternative Break means and how fun volunteering activities are combined with social justice experiences in trips across the Southeastern U.S. We'll be talking about the application process and delve into the three trip topics taking place this Spring Break: Healthcare Disparities in Nashville, TN; Food Insecurity and Sustainable Food Systems in Atlanta, GA; and Environmental Justice near Congaree National Park in Columbia, SC.

Looking to volunteer on a weekly basis? Join us on our Weekly Service Trips to Atlanta Community Food Bank! Sign up on EmoryOPEN, or contact Trinity Tunstall (ttunsta@emory.edu) to learn more.
