A group of Emory medical students are hosting a Reproductive Justice Benefit Concert on Sunday, November 10th. The aim of this event is to uplift and support people in the local community doing on-the-ground work to further reproductive justice. Please see more details below as to how you can get involved, support, and attend!
The concert will take place on November 10th at 6pm at Gallery 378 (378 Clifton Rd, 30307 Atlanta, Georgia). This event is a live fundraiser concert featuring performances from Emory medical students and local Atlanta star, Ruby Velle.
All proceeds will be donated to the Feminist Women's Health Center (FWHC). FWHC is a local organization that provides reproductive health services to anyone in need of them. Since their foundation in 1976, FWHC has played a critical role in the Atlanta community through their advocacy efforts, grassroots organizing, community education programs, and medical and abortion services.
Donations will be collected at the door. You can also donate prior to their Go Fund Me page or directly to the FWHC and show electronic receipt to enter the event. Please also feel free to share the Go Fund Me page with friends and family.
All Emory undergraduates are invited be a part of the event! If you are an artist there is free gallery space and they would love to showcase your (or any of your friends) art (preferably art within the spirit of the principles of Reproductive Justice).
Please contact Emaline Laney (Emory MD candidate) if you are interested in attending or volunteering at this event!
