The Office of Undergraduate Affairs is delighted to host a
virtual event with Dr. Anthony Jack, author of The Privileged Poor: How
Elite Colleges are Failing Disadvantaged Students and Assistant
Professor of Education at Harvard, on Thursday, February 11 from 5-6pm.
Dr. Jack will speak about his book and provide concrete advice for how
universities can help reduce the hidden disadvantages faced by first-generation
and lower-income students.
This free event is open to Emory students, faculty, staff, and alumni and will be hosted via Zoom. To participate, please register here.
