The WISER Podcast, or Women In Surgery at the Emory Residencies, was created in fall 2018 by an Emory medical student and Emory general surgery resident. This show promotes women in surgery through the discussion of their careers, achievements, and life stories, as well as identifies and discusses common career obstacles that women in surgery face and creates opportunities for mentorship on these topics.
