Get Involved with Emory's Urban Health Initiative

Interested in finding meaningful ways to serve the community? Apply to volunteer with Emory's Urban Health Initiative (UHI). The mission of the UHI is to improve the health of and decrease disparities among diverse and underserved populations in Atlanta.

UHI is unique in that they rely on volunteers to make the impact on health disparities. This isn't just theory; this is application! Working with real communities and people is very rewarding, but comes with a lot of responsibility. As such, getting involved can be a relatively long process compared to other volunteer/intern opportunities, but this is necessary in order to ensure the volunteer team is qualified to represent UHI and Emory. UHI is seeks volunteers who are leaders, learners, and go-getters with entrepreneurial spirits.

To learn more about opportunities with UHI, join their mailing list and complete the volunteer interest form. Both forms can be found on their website: http://urbanhealthinitiative.emory.edu/involved/index.html.
