Massachusetts General Hospital is currently recruiting for multiple clinical research coordinator positions for their Cancer Outcomes Research Program,
with start dates in early summer 2019. These positions are ideal for
graduating students who hope to pursue a career in psychology, medicine, public
health, or an allied health profession. Their multidisciplinary team of clinical
researchers are conducting over 25 supportive care studies on a variety of
interventions to improve coping, wellbeing, and quality of life in patients
with cancer and their families. The research assistants who work with them
receive excellent training in the procedures for coordinating and
implementing clinical trials, interfacing with the Internal Review
Board, collecting and managing participant-reported data, as well
as presenting and publishing study findings. In addition, research assistants receive
ongoing mentorship from MGH faculty in preparing and applying for graduate or
medical school as they progress to the next phase of their careers.
