Education in Medical Emergencies PR Coordinator Position

Are you passionate about health education, or interested in emergency medicine? Do you have experience in marketing for large-scale events?

Education in Medical Emergencies (EME), a new student organization dedicated to educating the public and the Emory community on how to respond appropriately to medical emergencies, is looking for a student with passion for healthcare and marketing to fill their PR coordinator position.

The PR coordinator will work closely with the local Emory committee as well as the national nonprofit HealthCorps to advertise for the annual Texas Two Step CPR event in February, in which members will teach the public in compressions-only CPR. Additionally, the PR coordinator will spearhead publicity for Save a Life Week in March to engage the Emory community in learning CPR as well as other life-saving techniques.

The position begins over winter break (AFTER finals, so that you may have time to focus on your exams and/or papers) and will end in April.  A select number of applicants will interview with the directors over video call; if you are chosen for an interview, these details will be emailed to you by December 21. Please contact executive director Linda Li at lwli2@emory.edu if you have any questions.
