We are a group of Emory medical students who are coordinators for two free clinics run at the Clarkston Community Health Center in Clarkston, GA. One clinic focuses on general primary care and the other on women’s health. We are reaching out to see if there would be interest within the undergraduate pre-health community for those with experience to volunteer in operating phlebotomy operations in the clinic.
As the clinics are Clarkston continue to grow over the past decades, the need for volunteers from Emory increases as well. During this transitionary period (where the clinic has received funding to move to a larger building), we seek to establish a more multi-disciplinary model from Emory, where there is buy-in from multiple domains across the university.
Both clinics take place on Saturdays, split between morning and afternoon. Please complete the sign-up form here.
