Prepare for a career in healthcare working as a summer clinical intern at Infectious Disease Specialists of Atlanta located in Decatur, GA on the Emory Decatur Hospital campus. We are a very busy private medical practice with 5 physicians and one nurse practitioner providing inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation, infusion therapy, wound care, conducting cutting edge FDA-approved clinical trials, and providing travel medicine consultation to the metro Atlanta community. Job duties would include obtaining vital signs and getting initial histories from patients as well as clinical documentation. Shadowing doctors for clinical experience as well as some research assistant duties would also be components of the job. Competitive pay. No prior experience required but must be motivated and a quick learner.
