DUCOM's Application First Aid (AFA) Program provides one-on-one mentorship for pre-med students through each step of the application: the primary app, secondary app, interviews and any general questions that arise! Our goal is to help students applying in the 2023-2024 cycle by being an extra set of eyes on their application as well as offering moral support! Applying is difficult in so many ways and the AFA team hope we can give back to current applicants by being a friendly face they can ask questions, advice, or just vent to if need be! The services are completely free and the club will begin matching students to over 100 volunteer DUCOM mentors (first year medical students) starting in mid-April. Students can be current undergraduates or post-grads and we will try to match students with mentors with similar backgrounds (# of gap years, interests, etc).
