Description: The Recruitment Ambassadors Program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is hosting the 4th annual Pre-Pharmacy Summit on Saturday, February 19! All current undergraduate and post-graduate students with an interest in pharmacy are encouraged to attend the Summit to learn about the pharmacy school admissions process and network with prospective and current pharmacy students. Participants will also have the chance to learn more about the field through various breakout sessions featuring our current students and TED talks led by our esteemed faculty. This year specifically, the emphasis will be on the theme: "Pharmacy and the Lifespan: How Pharmacists Impact Human Health In Every Phase of Life" where we will focus on the unique career opportunities the pharmacy field offers in all stages of life.  These include insights into pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric pharmacy fields along with ambulatory care, critical care, and senior living pharmacy. We will offer a hybrid option where students can choose to attend virtually in person. This event will be highly interactive, so we encourage you to attend in-person if able! We will continue to monitor all federal, state, and local COVID-19 guidelines to ensure a safe and fun event for all. We will communicate any updates or changes to our plans as quickly as possible. Make sure to register by Tuesday, February 15th in order to secure your spot at the Summit this year!

*We are currently monitoring COVID-19 trends and will communicate any changes to the event based on guidance from the Orange County Health Department
