SPURS is a summer research program that is designed to introduce, support, and empower undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue careers in medicine, research, and healthcare.
We offer an on-sight laboratory experience at Columbia in NYC and have had our past students working in labs that align with their research interests (e.g. Neuroscience, Type 2 Diabetes, cancer, public health, etc.).
