Eye Physicians & Surgeons PC Seeking Applicants for Ophthalmic Scribe Positions
Eye Physicians & Surgeons PC is currently hiring full
time and part time ophthalmic scribes.
If you have completed your undergraduate degree and are taking a gap
period prior to starting medical school, please consider applying with us. As an employee, you would have the
opportunity to learn various aspects of the field of ophthalmology including
medical terminology, clinical decision making and diagnostic testing.
An ophthalmic scribe is responsible for data entry on a
patient’s electronic medical record. The
scribes are also trained to perform diagnostic testing, such as fundus photos
and OCT’s. This is a great opportunity
to learn the pathogenesis of the diseases and the treatment options since the
scribe is in the room with the Doctor and patient.
