On March 18, we are conducting our first Career Eco event
for the
southeastern US and our 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion.
This approach
supports the safe distancing protocol and enables
engagement across our wide
area from the Mississippi River to North Carolina and
down to Puerto Rico.
We seek the best qualified and competitive students:
GPA: 3.7 or
higher and MCAT scores above 508. Our Army HPSP medical
school
scholarships are very competitive for the Regular Army.
Selected
participants receive a $20K signing bonus. Our Recruiters and
outstanding Army physicians are planning to participate
for 8 hours on
Thursday March 18.
We will have some young Army HPSP officers available to
describe their
personal experiences. Also, we will have some practicing
physicians and
residents in training supporting this highlight event.
We will also promote the Medical school stipend program
(MSSP) for students
interested in serving in the Army Reserve. Additionally,
our Recruiters are
prepared to describe loan repayment programs that enhance
participation at
the very best schools.
