The Global Surgery Student Alliance chapters at Harvard University and Baylor University are teaming up to host the first ever Undergraduate Global Surgery Hackathon on February 26th and 27th, 2021. GSSA is the national student-run global surgery working group for the U.S. - we believe that students are willing and able to make significant contributions to global surgery and we hope to be a resource that facilitates those efforts.
During this event, students from across the country will join one
another to tackle a real-world global surgery problem. They will have the
opportunity to be mentored by and present their solution to field experts. This
event is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to network and work
with both students and professionals who are passionate about global
surgery.
