SEMSS is an inter-institutionally organized event (between schools such as UAB, Vanderbilt, MCG - Augusta, etc.) whose main mission is to connect medical students, MD/PhD students, and undergrads together in an environment where they can better explore a wider diversity of physician scientist training. Our goal is to offer keynote talks, professional development, and networking events for our participants. Despite the evolving nature of our world today, we wanted to continue our event this year and strive to provide students with a similar experience, albeit online.
Registration
(priced at $5) for the event will continue through to the start of the
symposium. In addition, we encourage interested parties to submit abstracts for
poster presentations as well. We do recognize that the abstract submission
deadline date may be close in timing to the potential registration notice, and
are willing to evaluate certain situations on a case to case basis. Students
