STEM Pathways is currently seeking applicants for their STEM Mentor role. STEM
Pathways is a pre-orientation program providing support to natural
science and mathematics students who are the first generation in their
families to attend college, or are in identity groups underrepresented
in STEM fields. The STEM Pathways pre-orientation program provides an
introduction to STEM opportunities and faculty at Emory, and seeks to
create a supportive community among participants and peer mentors.
The STEM Pathways Mentor position is essential to
supporting academic success and building a community for new students.
New mentors must be willing to help create a community of scholars and
talk about their own experiences achieving success and overcoming
challenges at Emory.
