The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) at the University of Detroit
Mercy School of Dentistry aims to assist students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds with
gaining admission to dental school and succeeding in their future careers in
dentistry. Current Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and recent alumni with an interest in dentistry are eligible to apply.
Throughout the four-week program, participants will take part in various educational and professional development experiences, including intensive DAT courses, dental school application assistance, simulation lab activities, primary care exposure and more. With acceptance into the program, participants will receive cost-free housing. A stipend to cover travel expenses is also included.
