Gap Year & Internship Opportunities with Project Horseshoe Farm

Project Horseshoe Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with sites in Greensboro and Marion, AL and a coming site in Pomona, CA (Summer 2020). Project Horseshoe Farm (HSF) offers service and support programs to improve the health and quality of life of adults in their partner communities.

HSF offers two unique, paid “gap year” opportunities for top recent college graduates from across the country: the Community Health Fellowship and the Farming, Health, and Nutrition Fellowship. Both fellowships are 13-month positions and allow students to gain hands-on experience working with community health programs. Since 2009, more than 90 graduates have served as Fellows dedicated to HSF's mission of working with and building on the strengths of communities, improving the health and quality of life of vulnerable neighbors, and preparing citizen service leaders for tomorrow’s communities.

To learn more, view the attached flyer and newsletter and visit their website. Students interested in applying can follow this link to the fellowship application. The first application deadline is November 10th, 2019.

Project Horseshoe Farm also has opportunities for undergraduates! If you are an undergrad student looking for an internship or alternative spring break opportunity, contact HSF for additional information.
