Brown University Gateways Program

Gateways to Medicine, Healthcare and Research at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is an academically rigorous post-bacc program that provides motivated students new pathways to careers in the health sciences.

The program offers either a Master of Science in Medical Sciences, or a Certificate in Medical Science.

Benefits include:
  • A small class size that ensures individualized attention.
  • A robust curriculum on par with the first year of an Ivy League medical school.
  • Hands-on, practical experience at community healthcare sites and the opportunity to participate in the care of underserved and vulnerable patients.
  • Career mentoring and advising.
  • Access to Brown University facilities and resources.
Applications are due June 1, 2019 and classes begin in July for master's degree candidates. To learn more about this post-bacc program, visit their website: https://www.brown.edu/academics/medical/education/other-programs/gateways/home.
