Save the date for the upcoming Integrated Minority Pre-Professional Consortium for minority students who are interested in professional degrees. This two-day conference, the first of its kind,
will be on February 15-16, 2019,
at UAB School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.
Information on applications, the
process of applying, how to be competitive, as well as some hands-on
workshops will be provided. Additionally, exhibitor fair will have recruiters from all areas of healthcare and law schools.
Hosts of IMPaCt, the UAB Student National
Medical Association, will also be offering one-on-one consultations where students can select to
participate in mock interviews, application review, class scheduling and/or
personal statement review. All underrepresented students interested in medicine, dentistry, PA, PT, nursing, optometry, law, and other professional fields are invited to attend.
