The Buckley Lab in the Georgia Tech/Emory Biomedical Engineering Department is currently focused on improving clinical outcomes in pediatric patients at high-risk for brain injury. They are looking for undergraduate researchers to help with rodent behavioral training. This work will be part of a larger project that seeks to understand early biomarkers of brain injury.
The ideal candidate would have previous research experience working with animals as well as at least 12 hours/week to devote to research. The lab is located in the Health Sciences Research Building on Emory’s campus.
