Summer Health Professions Education Program Application is Live!

The Summer Health Professions Education Program application process is underway for potential scholars! The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free, six-week academic enrichment program that includes a rigorous curriculum, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The goal of SHPEP is to strengthen the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions and prepare them for a successful application and matriculation to health professions schools. Register and join Part II of the SHPEP webinar, to hear important steps to take in order to successfully complete the SHPEP application. The National Program Office will offer tips for completing the personal statement and allow attendees to hear directly from SHPEP alumni members and mentors who craft letters of recommendations for potential SHPEP scholars. They will also provide a quick checklist to consider before hitting the submit button on your SHPEP applications.
