It gives me great pleasure to share that the M.S. in Oral Health Sciences program at Boston University has accepted another talented class of students interested in improving their academic credentials for dental school even with the challenges we all face due to COVID-19. Additionally, the 2021 matriculating class is quite a diverse group with students historically underrepresented in dentistry and those from disadvantaged backgrounds representing close to 40% of our incoming class. I appreciate the role you have played in this achievement. BU is committed to providing a ‘second chance’ program for all students pursuing a career in dentistry. In keeping with this mission, we provide all students with individualized academic advising, professional development through our enrichment series, and support throughout the program.
As you advise students seeking to improve their credentials for dental school admission, please share the brochure as well as invite them to attend one of our upcoming informational webinars. BU OHS Program Webinars are held monthly that provides general information and program overview. Please visit our website to register and learn more about the OHS program.Theresa A. Davies, PhD

University of Pittsburgh Coalition of Pre Health Students (CPHS) seeks to unite the Pre-Health Community at Pitt and serve as a collective voice to further the combined aspirations, efforts, and objectives of all pre-health organizations. This inspired us to organize a Pre-Health Networking event to bring together all of the pre-health students on campus to participate in a conference-style event that emphasizes interprofessionalism and collaboration.
CPHS would thus like to extend an invitation to all interested students at Emory to our Sixth Annual 2022 Pre-Health Networking Fair, which will take place virtually on Sunday, March 27th from 2:30-3:30 pm EST. Because our event will take place virtually this year, we have extended invitations to schools across the country. Given the reputation that Emory has for producing motivated future healthcare providers, we believe that the Pre-Health Networking Fair is an amazing opportunity for networking and learning more about the interconnected pre-health community. We ask that you please consider passing the details of this event onto your students, given that many of them are probably planning on getting involved in the Pre-Health field in the future.
The Pre-Health Networking fair will feature 30+ graduate programs from schools across the country. Attendees will be able to speak individually or in group settings with professionals from graduate programs like Medical, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental, Physician Assistant, Public Health, and more!
As stated above, due to these unprecedented times, we will be
holding our Networking Fair virtually this year. Because of this, we have
waived the cost of tickets. Therefore, admission is free to any and all
students!
Registration is required through Eventbrite. The link is included below.
If you or your students have any questions regarding the event, please feel free to contact our Summit Director Abby Galeano at ALG261@pitt.edu, or our Marketing Director Emily Valazza at EMV33@pitt.edu. If you are interested in participating in the Networking Fair to represent a program at your institution, please reach out as well!
We hope that your students will be able to join us in March!
